I liked that it forced engagement because you could not jump ahead and you had to respond to quizzes and provide journal entries to go to the next section. I like the combination of how material was present - some was read, some present during videos with an expert, and some presented as videos with sample parents.

I appreciated how practical and structured the tools were. The "ladder" framework for understanding anger and conflict was also genuinely useful, it helped me recognize and name where I am emotionally in a given moment. I also valued the values-based exercises, like imagining what I'd save in an emergency and thinking about what I hope my children say about me in ten years, since they helped clarify what actually matters most to me as I build a parenting plan.

This course has helped me with different resources in finding help for my child; it has also helped me help her cope with things and how I can talk to her if she needs me. I realized I was being a little hard on her when she would get into trouble, but I now I am aware that she don't understand this whole process. This course reminds me to just be in the moment and present with both of my children.

The course also reinforced the importance of stability, consistency, and reducing children's exposure to conflict, which are values I believe are important for every family.

I really liked that it included education on how to help my children adjust and how to be a more present parent. I liked that there were so many examples on how to navigate different situations and ways to avoid conflict all together. Sometimes I have blamed my co-parent for the conflict, but now I know how to stop it before I let it escalate due to my own emotional dysregulation.
