I appreciated how practical and structured the tools were. The "ladder" framework for understanding anger and conflict was also genuinely useful, it helped me recognize and name where I am emotionally in a given moment. I also valued the values-based exercises, like imagining what I'd save in an emergency and thinking about what I hope my children say about me in ten years, since they helped clarify what actually matters most to me as I build a parenting plan.
