12 Hour - High-Conflict Co-Parenting - Co-Parenting Without Conflict

May 28, 2026

Breanna H.

I liked how thorough the chapters were. I also appreciated the journal entry prompts because a lot of them allowed for expansion on my thought process and not just a black and white answer. The final chapter on DV and IPV was especially useful and really solidified a lot of things for me. This program invites participation, but still allows for individuals to put in the effort they are capable of and I think that's an intelligent design. The amount of information you can gain from it scales with the amount of effort you put into it.

This course provides some valuable information - parallel parenting and parenting plans give structure and reduce conflict, which is especially valuable when emotions run high. Understanding what cortisol does in the brain helps you see why stress can make communication harder and why emotion regulation matters so much. That kind of insight turns reactions into choices.

I liked that it was not forcing you on the idea to co-parent with a person who is difficult; instead they stated that parallel parenting is acceptable - other classes I have attended did not state that.

16 Hour - High-Conflict Co-Parenting - Co-Parenting Without Conflict

May 15, 2026

Amanda M.

It offered ways/ideas for how to communicate with the children about difficult topics. It helped me understand that it's ok to take care of myself too. I knew I made the right decision when I left my marriage, but the "Intimate Partner Violence" module I chose, reaffirmed that for me and helped me not feel alone. I deserve better and to not be emotionally, psychologically, and verbally abused almost daily and in front of the children.

Marlen R.

All the topics are interesting and help analyze the problem. Sometimes conflicts can be resolved through common sense and practice. It's not about being right, but about recognizing that the only ones affected are the children. This class helped me focus on my children and their well-being. As adults, we are both responsible for not harming our children or ourselves. In all legal matters, it's important to know our rights as parents, as well as our children's rights.

I loved how this program opened up my mind, taught me how to communicate with my co-parent when they are ready to, taught me how to make a plan, taught me new tools for deciding how to move forward with my emotions about the divorce, about taking control of my life in a certain aspect. I love how I learned to diffuse conflict before it starts. Also, I really enjoyed how it confirmed that I should put the children's feelings, needs and well-being first.

Some things I really liked about this program were that it gave practical tools instead of just saying “put the children first.” I liked learning about parallel parenting, structured communication, managing anger, and building a detailed parenting plan. I also liked that the course talked about how children experience conflict and grief differently than adults. That helped me think more about what my children may need emotionally, not just what needs to happen legally.
